San Lorenzo Place, Three Central and The Village Square offer around 26,500 sqm of retail spaces

Property giant Megaworld, known for popularizing the concept of ‘lifestyle malls’ in the Philippines, has opened three new community malls in Makati and Alabang.

Offering a total of around 26,500 square meters of commercial and retail spaces, San Lorenzo Place and Three Central in Makati City, and The Village Square in Alabang, are ‘neighborhood commercial centers’ that provide shopping necessities to those who live and work within the community.

The San Lorenzo Place along EDSA corner Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City is a two-level community mall that houses Shopwise Express for supermarket, National Bookstore, The Medical City Clinic, Watsons, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, as well as other restaurants, coffee shops, health & wellness stores, and laundry shops, among others.

Three Central, on the other hand, is a two-level community mall located at the podium area of Three Central residential condominium along Valero Street in Salcedo Village, Makati City. Targeting the residential and office communities of Salcedo Village, the mall is anchored by its own Marketplace by Rustan’s Supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops, and health and wellness shops.

The Village Square Alabang is also a two-level community mall that is within a short distance to some of Alabang and Paranaque’s upscale villages.  Currently, it is home to SM Hypermarket, DIY Store and some popular restaurants and fast-food chains. It is also directly connected to a 12-level BPO office tower and a four-storey parking facility.

“Smaller than the usual full-scale malls, our community malls still bear the signature brand of our Megaworld Lifestyle Malls. They primarily cater to the surrounding communities of each location, providing accessibility to a variety of dining, shopping, wellness and service options,” says Kevin L. Tan, senior vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.

Currently, Megaworld has 17 full-scale and community malls under the Megaworld Lifestyle Malls brand across the country.

Megaworld also recently opened its first full-scale mall outside of Luzon, the Festive Walk Mall in Iloilo Business Park, which offers 90,000 square meters of retail and commercial spaces.

Other company’s malls and commercial centers include: Eastwood Mall and Eastwood City Walk in Quezon City; Uptown Mall and Parade in Uptown Bonifacio; Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill; Southwoods Mall in Biñan, Laguna; Lucky Chinatown in Binondo, Manila; Newport Mall in Newport City; Forbes Town in Fort Bonifacio; Paseo Center in Makati CBD; Twin Lakes Shopping Village near Tagaytay; Mactan Alfresco in The Mactan Newtown, Cebu; The Clubhouse at Temple Drive in Quezon City; and the Festive Walk Parade in Iloilo Business Park.
